Watchstrap
Last summer I made a leatherstrap for my garminwatch and now it was time fore some restoration. A seam has come loose and need to bee replaced.
First the fun part to remove old stitches.
Then make a new seam.
Almost as new.
I don’t have so many pictures on creating the strap. It was made of double pieces of leather that I glued and sew together. Hardware was reused from a broken garminstrap.
I decided that I want a two-tone strap, black and brown, so needed to dye before sewing. The ends were thinned out before switch over, glued and sewed.
The holes were done whit a oblong punch to fit the buckle-tongue. The strap keeper was made of a single piece of a little thicker leather and the ends stitch together whit cross stitch. It have worked better than expected.
