Goldeneye

Not all attempts came out satisfying. This time I wanted to draw a eye with markers. The golden iris am I pleased with, the structure and golden color-tone.

And from there it goes downwards… Upper eyelashes became to long and distinct in the black color. Drawing whit markers, and use black or other dark colors have the downside that what is drown is drawn, hard to save a mistake.

Tried gray-brown at the lower and liked that better.

I don’t know if the eyebrow come to close to the eye or if it’s appear to be so because the too long eyelashes. A more filled eyebrow seems more right.

To get the whites of eyes more alive and arched I tried to give it a light tint of yellow and a touch of pink in the corners. Not completed satisfied with that, still a little bit flat or something.

Then to the the skin tone. Only one color make it feels flat too, even with shadows made by adding layers. The skin often have a warmth or cold underlying tone and around the eyes are the skin thin and blood vessel more visible. Adding a little pink in the shadows and under inner eye-corner did good.

Than I don’t have any more saving actions in mind.. As said, not satisfied whit the overall result, but enjoying the process.
