Leather Dragon
As a horse girl I have been trying to fix broken tack in different ways and a various of success. Never by really stitching because lack of tools. I have been fascinated by a good leather work in handmade tack. So when I was introduced to leather working by a friend I took the opportunity. After some key-rings and small leather things I was looking for a pattern to try out. I find a cute dragon made of a Baphomet Doll pattern at etsy.
Start out
Even if this is a smaller pattern there are allot of pieces to cut out, dye and, the most fun part, make stitching-holes. I used diamond chisels for that.
For this pattern you sewing every thing together inside-out. The stitching pony came handy to hold the pieces while working.

Convert the leather-ball with wings into a dragon was the trickiest part. Could be one or two ugly words involved while trying to push out the legs and horns trough the hole left in the back of his head.
Finlay stuffed with wool it look like a dragon. “Bolibompa” as some called it…not my attempt.
